Peter Joslyn is a British author, currently seeking a literary agent, hopefully leading to a publishing contract. He specialises in psychological mystery adventures.
His passion for writing was ignited whilst working with a wide range of global corporations and government agencies, where he has encountered first hand how power and control can lead certain individuals into corruption in public office.
With a fast-paced writing style and twisting plots, his novels are primarily aimed at the holiday reader market, targeting consumers seeking an unputdownable, emotionally based, investigative thriller.
He is currently writing a series of novels centred on the adventures of an ordinary man, Tim McCarthy and the close relationship he has with his daughter, Lou, a strong-willed newly recruited police officer. In each story, Tim and Lou are unexpectedly dragged into an international investigation through a variety of encounters, brushing up against corrupt business, political and religious leaders.
Peter lives in Hampshire, UK, has an MSc in Engineering and an Executive MBA. He has three daughters, a black labrador and a golden retriever.
Getting people to think about the world we live in, is a major focus of my writing. Unfortunately, it is a sad fact of life that a few influential people in our communities exploit their positions of power. Globally, this includes politicians, government officials, religious leaders, police officers and senior corporate executives - all people we need on a daily basis to ensure we feel secure in the world we live in.
